Schola SA is a Registered Non-Profit Company using sport and development as a tool and vehicle to address the many social ills and obstacles facing our local communities. Through sport, we are able to address the six pillars on which our organization is built. Our aim is to make our website accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that our site provides a seamless and enjoyable browsing experience for every visitor.
ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
This statement reflects our ongoing efforts to prioritize web accessibility. Our goal is to ensure that our site, [enter site name and address], is accessible to people with disabilities, allowing them to navigate, understand, and interact with the content effectively.
What web accessibility is
Web accessibility refers to the inclusive practice of ensuring that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web. It encompasses all disabilities that affect access to the web, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have taken measures to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2] to provide a level of accessibility that meets the necessary standards. Our efforts include optimizing the site for assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation, and implementing features like clear heading structures, alternative text for images, and accessible multimedia content.
- In our pursuit of accessibility, we have utilized tools like the Accessibility Wizard to identify and address potential issues. Additionally, we have focused on factors such as language settings, content order, color contrast, motion reduction, and the overall accessibility of videos, audio, and files on the site.
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
As an organization dedicated to inclusivity, we acknowledge that certain pages on our site may rely on third-party content, impacting their level of accessibility. We declare partial compliance with the accessibility standard for these specific pages, which are associated with relevant third parties that Schola SA will work with.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization
Accessibility and available to access at the Schola SA offices include off street parking, however due to limited access, customers are encouraged to make appointments prior to coming to the offices. The facility is accessible for both abled and disabled parsons and offers adequate facilities such as seating and bathrooms for all parties as well.
Requests, issues, and suggestions
We value feedback and are dedicated to addressing any accessibility issues that may arise. If you encounter an accessibility concern on our site or require further assistance, please feel free to contact our accessibility coordinator:
