Let’s Talk all things football

Soccer OR Football is most certainly considered among the most played and enjoyed sporting codes around the globe, especially at grassroots level and otherwise known as informal leagues.

It is also considered among the richest sporting codes in the world with competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, Olympics and of cause the various leagues played at professional club level such as the English Premiere League, UEFA Champions League, LALIGA etc. Locally the SASOL League, PSL and even tournaments such as the Nedbank Cup and Motshepe League also contribute to the livelihoods of male and females players participating in these events.

Soccer, unlike any other sport has a legacy program making inroads into the poorest communities in our country and affecting the lives and livelihoods of young people in every town, township and city in our country.

Schola SA has therefore developed a soccer program that would ensure grassroots development of the persons participating in the sport, the community in which programs are offered and the stakeholders involved.

AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Mass Participation Programs are always great for community engagements and involvement. It allows everyone within that specific community to benefit from what is happening, but it also allows for different communities to come together to make a meaningful change in the lives of especially young people.

As a Non-Profit Organization, we understand the impact of such programs and the far-reaching benefits this has for the community. This is exactly why we have designed a number of tried and tested grassroots, development and professional soccer programs for the benefit of the young people within the communities where these programs take place.

Click here below for more information on the various Mass Participation Soccer Programs that we offer annually and how you communities can benefit from these programs.

If you would like to get involved in any of these programs OR the entire Soccer Program, please also follow the instructions contained here below or within the Mass Participation Section.

The Schola SA Soccer Club is an establishment born out of the Mass Participation Programs. Athletes in this program are two-fold:

ONE

Those Athletes participating in the various mass participation programs and who have been identified with talent and willing to take up the sport on a more regular and permanent basis.

TWO

Those interested in the sport and wanting to Join Schola SA FC regardless of the talent and capabilities.

The Schola SA Football Club also has a dual focus, which is the development of football as a whole while placing key emphasis on the development of female football in particular.  The club will therefore cater to both male and female football and will include 11 sided and small sided games.
