ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Schola SA Holiday Program is one of our annual major programs on our calendar. Starting just after the schools close in December, our holiday program commences and runs for anything from 1 week to 3 weeks with break for days such as Christmas and Boxing Day.
Since the initiation of the program in December 2021, we have invested an annual amount average of anything between R870 000 to R1.1m into the program. This ensure that we are able to feed each child with at least 2 full meals and a snack each day, complete a one day excursion to a venue somewhere in Cape Town for the most senior group of learners in the program, recruit and appoint facilitators and volunteers for the entire program, cover the costs of security, sound, various sporting programs, leadership programs, skills development programs and entrepreneurship initiatives with businesses within the…
